The Last Touch A Personal Message From Jason Lok Because farewell deserves to be beautiful. For more than 15 years, I’ve walked alongside families and their dogs through every stage of life. From excited first-time owners coming to pick up their puppy, to regulars booking their monthly grooms — I’ve seen it all. Some of the puppies I groomed have now grown up alongside their owners, witnessed their weddings, the birth of children, birthdays, and even the ups and downs of life. I’ve watched once energetic pups turn into calm seniors. I’ve seen the sparkle in their eyes age gently over time. And for many, I became not just their groomer — but part of their family story. But what breaks my heart most… is the last chapter. The quiet moment when the leash is no longer needed. The empty collar. The silence after the tail stops wagging. In Singapore, I’ve noticed that many families move quickly to arrange cremation. There’s barely time to say goodbye, and often, the beloved pet is sent off without the dignity they deserve. Sometimes their fur is matted, their eyes are still tear-stained, their paws untrimmed. Not because their owners don’t care — but because no one told them they could do one last act of love. That’s why I started The Last Touch – by Pooch Image. Not as a business, but as a calling. This is for every owner who wants to honour their pets one last time — with gentle brushing, a clean coat, trimmed nails, and a peaceful expression. This is for every pet who deserves to leave looking just as beautiful as they arrived. Because they weren’t just animals. They were family.
It's About Closure Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things we’ll ever do. They were with us through every season — from the first wagging tail to the final gentle sigh. But when they pass, many families in Singapore feel rushed. The calls to the vet, the cremation booking, the quiet home. And just like that, the goodbye feels incomplete. Closure means having a moment to pause. To honour their life. To look at them — clean, peaceful, and cared for — and say: "You were loved until the very end. "At The Last Touch" we offer that moment. We gently bathe and groom your dog or cat one last time brushing their coat, trimming , wiping their paws…giving you the comfort of knowing they left this world with dignity and love. Because love doesn’t end when life does. And for all the memories they gave us, they deserve one last act of kindness.
Born beautiful, and should leave beautiful too.” – Jason Lok
